PingCo Onboarded to Operator Connect Program by Microsoft

MELBOURNE, Australia

PingCo has been confirmed as a Microsoft Certified Operator Connect Partner through the development and release of TCAP – their Teams Calling Automation Platform.

“Carriers who have applied for – and been approved to join – Microsoft’s Operator Connect program are faced with lengthy and significant development effort to integrate legacy OSS/BSS systems with the Operator Connect API’s,” said Jeff Coleman, PingCo Director of Wholesale.  “This is a necessary investment required to offer a compelling customer journey for customers to buy numbers, select calling plans and enable Teams Calling in real time.”

TCAP allows carriers to be in market in 2 weeks rather than the current estimated 6 month development cycleand Teams customers to be making calls in less than 5 minutes – completely self-service and self-managed with no carrier intervention.  Supporting both Direct Routing and Operator Connect to add PSTN calling to Microsoft Teams, TCAP allows this to be made simple, fast and profitable.

Operator Connect is the latest addition to TCAP’s growing suite of capabilities.  Both PingCo customers and partners will be able to access Operator Connect through TCAP’s dashboard once onboarded.
