Microsoft has partnered with PingCo to deliver Operator Connect Accelerator (OCA). The new initiative authorises PingCo to accelerate, validate and certify Operator Connect services, allowing carriers and service providers to go to market quickly.

- TCAP automates the onboarding, connectivity and validation of Service Providers and Partners onto Operator Connect.
Based on PingCo’s TCAP platform, we allow carriers to deliver Operator Connect offerings in shorter, less resource-intensive timeframes.
Typically, carriers who go to market through TCAP have their offerings ready in just a few weeks… We provide the platform, which streamlines both the customer journey and Microsoft’s verification process, and we automate the backend integration and carrier testing services. As a result, we shorten the time to market from six to 12 months to just a couple of weeks.

TCAP also provides a way for carriers to satisfy Microsoft’s verification tests, which are platform prerequisites that must be met before a carrier offering can be certified for Operator Connect.
“Previously, the requirements for Operator Connect had to be validated through testing packages at a cost” Pearson continued. “When those fees were added onto the cost of manually developing an Operator Connect offering, which required the provider to develop their own software, entering the OC market used to be prohibitively expensive.”
TCAP is available to all service providers and partners to automate their telecommunication offering to partners and customers.
