Leading Telco as a Service (TaaS) provider PingCo today announced the appoint of Jeff Coleman to lead the sales of TCAP across the globe. With over 25 years’ experience in senior sales roles in Telecommunications and Software as a Service (SaaS), Jeff brings exceptional market experience and connections from across the globe. Jeff couldn’t turn down the opportunity to work with PingCo in the SaaS space, in what Jeff sees as the next big industry capability of commending a multi-billion-dollar stake in the telecommunications industry.
“Jeff is a proven sales leader, capable of knocking on the doors of Tier 1 carriers across the globe with years of experience in the industry and a stellar reputation” said PingCo CEO Daniel Pearson. “He has been around long enough to see the trends come and go, and the foresight to see what this industry can build to. I’m excited to see him thrive in it’.
Over the past 25 years Jeff has held senior positions in Channel Sales and Partner Management roles across Twilio, Cisco, Microsoft and HP. Jeff was instrumental in Broadsoft’s (acquired by Cisco) success in the APAC market. Jeff led his team to launch and drive the success of the new UCaaS product with another Tier 1 carrier, the product became the fastest growing CPaaS product globally within 12 months. During his tenure with Cisco he onboarded over 60 channel partners to re-sell UCaaS including Telstra, Optus, Vocus, Singtel and Spark (NZ).
“There is huge pent-up demand in the market for Microsoft Teams customers to enable PSTN calling – and the available channel stretches from carriers and ISP’s to all tiers of MSP’s, consultants and niche integrators.
The common challenge they face in order to fulfil that demand is either to create and implement manual processes and develop costly tools or acquire a communications platform to seamlessly streamline that customer journey.
TCAP is that Platform and new partners at all levels are incredibly excited to be in the market NOW with all the tools needed to satisfy customer demand directly or through their channels.”
Jeff’s appointment is a strong indicator of PingCo’s position in the market, and rounds out a strong suite of top executive hires for 2021.
